Audrey J. Adair is an award-winning veteran music educator who taught music at all levels in Florida,
Texas and Virginia public schools. She has served as
a music consultant, music specialist, instructor, choir director, classroom teacher, and music teacher for
gifted and talented students and those with moderate
to severe disabilities.

Ms. Adairís recent publications, featured exclusively
on Amazon, are the first ten songbooks in a collection, entitled EZ-PZ DUETS for soprano recorders.
Included are: 20 Soothing Songs; 20 Emoji Songs;
20 Bubbly Tunes; 20 Familiar Tunes; 40 Rounds;
20 Christmas Carols; 20 December Songs; 20 …tudes VOL 1; 20 …tudes VOL 2;
and Teaching …tudes.
Several of the duet books are Ms. Adairís original compositions while others are her arrangements, all geared towards beginner and intermediate recorder players. Also, in the collection is a guidebook for the music teacher that goes hand in hand with the two student volumes of …tude duets. Later in 2020, ten more of Ms. Adairís EZ-PZ duet books will be released on Amazon, including two for flute.

Her first publication, Ready-to-Use Music Activities Kit, was the all-time best seller for Parker Publishing Companyís Music Educators Book Club. Her next project, published by Parker, was Music Curriculum Activities Library, a series of seven units featuring 350 stimulating activity sheets to develop basic music concepts and skills in grades 3-8. Then came her next book, START with SONG! 201 Ready-to-Use Interdisciplinary Activities for Young Learners. The expression, 'Ready-to-Use,' that originated with her first book, continues to be a popular phrasing in titles by other non-fiction authors.

Audrey J. Adair was born in Wisconsin and raised in the Midwest. She graduated from St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN, with a B.A. Degree in Music Education. After graduation she continued her education and began her long-term music teaching career.

Now as a fulltime author and songwriter, her days can be fairly solitary. Nonetheless, when sheís not composing or writing, she can be found visiting grandchildren, playing tennis, performing, volunteering, creating new spicy vegan recipes, or wandering the globe with her partner,
Walter D. Lazear. Audrey J. Adair resides in the greater Washington DC area and is working on her next book.
